Template:Rename media

The name of this media object is misspelled, incomplete, misleading, cryptic, does not conform to an established naming convention, has a name which is largely duplicative to another name. This media object must be renamed. For further information about when to rename, see PBC:File names. This request will be dealt with by an administrator or bot.

Media bearing this template are added to Category:PBC files requiring renaming. If no suggestion is made for the new name, the media will be added to Category:Incomplete file renaming requests.

Usage: {{rename media|New title|Reason for request}}

• Place the template on the file description page.
• Do not subst: the template.
• Do not include the "File:" prefix.
• Remember to add the file extension (.jpg, .png, etc.).
• This is for media only. For articles and templates, see Template:Rename.
