Yusaf "Mack Attack" Mack (also known as Philly, Philly Mack Attack; born 20 January 1980 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States) is an american professional boxer and pornographic actor. He has held regional titles from the USBA (Now the IBF), NABA, UBA, and NABF. Mack has fought several former world champions, including Alejandro Berrio, Glen Johnson and Carl Froch. Mack is a father of ten children and is engaged to a woman. In 2015, he appeared in a DawgPoundUSA production titled Holiday Hump'n along with gay pornographic actors Bamm Bamm and Young Buck.

Boxing career[edit | edit source]

Mack made his professional boxing debut at middleweight on November 17, 2000 in Biloxi, Mississippi. In his first 24 fights, Mack compiled a record of 22-0 with two draws. Throughout his early fights Mack moved between the middleweight, super middleweight, and light heavyweight divisions.

On October 8, 2004 Mack defeated Shannon Miller, to win the vacant USBA super middleweight title. Mack would quickly vacate this title.

On August 13, 2005 Mack defeated Thomas Reid, to win the UBA light heavyweight title.

On May 19, 2006 Mack suffered his first career lost against Alejandro Berrio in an IBF super middleweight title eliminator. Had Mack won, he would have been in the number two spot for a chance to fight Robert Stieglitz.

On October 6, 2007 Mack suffered his second career lost against Librado Andrade while attempting to win the vacant USBA super middleweight title for a second time. Mack was able to get a knockdown on Andrade in the first round, however he was later knocked down three times in the seventh round to lose by a seventh round technical knockout. This fight was aired on HBO PPV as the co-main event to the rematch between Manny Pacquiao and Marco Antonio Barrera.

Starting in 2008, Mack has fought exclusively at light heavyweight.

On June 4, 2008 Mack defeated Daniel Judah (the Brother of Zab Judah) by a unanimous decision to win the vacant NABA light heavyweight title. This fight was aired live on ESPN2 as part of Wednesday Night Fights.

On September 26, 2008 Mack defeated Omar Pittman by a technical knockout in the sixth round. This was Mack's first defense of his newly awarded NABA light heavyweight title.

On February 6, 2009 Mack defeated Chris Henry by a spit decision to defend his NABA title and win the NABF light heavyweight title. This fight was aired live on ESPN2 as part of Friday Night Fights.

On February 5, 2010 Mack suffered his third career lost to 41-year-old Glen Johnson by a sixth round technical knockout. As part of an IBF light heavyweight title eliminator to face Tavoris Cloud. At the time of this fight Mack was ranked by Ring Magazine as on the top ten best light heavyweights in the world. This fight was aired live on ESPN2 as part of Friday Night Fights.

Mack's next fight occurred on March 4, 2011 at the Warner Center Marriott in the Woodland Hills district of Los Angeles, California against Otis Griffin as part of an IBF eliminator. Mack won the fight by a split decision. On June 25, 2011 at the Family Arena in St. Charles, Missouri, Mack faced Tavoris Cloud for the IBF light heavyweight title lost to by TKO in the eighth round.

On November 17, 2012 Mack returned to super-middleweight to fight Carl Froch for the IBF World title. Mack was floored by a punch to the body in the third round, from which, he was counted out.
