They have basically disavowed working with Levi/Rustin because of alleged inflammatory comments he made when he was dismissed/fired from them. There is also an alleged conflict of interest where a wealthy client engaged Levi's "services" when he was representing CORE (and subsequently became, in Levi's words, "[my] boyfriend."
