Redirects are used to point one article to another, effectively giving a single article several names. Reasons to use a redirect include, but are not limited to:
Alternate capitalizations (Mcdonald's redirects to McDonald's) (Note: when searching, the case is usually ignored. These redirects are useful when two articles share the same name but with different cases, for example the separate articles CAVA and cava.)

What happens next: Once your request is submitted, it will be reviewed by one or more registered editors who will determine if the redirect is appropriate. If it is, the redirect will be created. If not, it will be declined.
