In accordance with the new draft policy, the encyclopedia introduces new categories and classifications for performers in gay pornography.
The Former Gay category (also is Fluid Sexuality, Open-Minded Gay, Straight 4 Pay) is a part of a homophobic agenda in gay pornography related to the ability to change sexual orientation from gay to any other. Most often manifested in switching attention from gay pornography to bisexual, trans or heterosexual pornography. In most cases, this is due to the deep mental problems of performers involved on the gay side of the industry, the dominance of heterosexual/bisexual/pansexual performers in gay pornography, the intervention of heterosexuals in the production of gay pornography, internalized homophobia, heterosexism and general homophobic rhetoric. The agenda is supported mainly by homophobic groups of bisexuals, pansexuals, Gay for Pay performers, straight and bisexual female fans and performers, large pornographic companies and blogs, as well as many performers who identify themselves as gay. The agenda is also closely related to the performers who lied about their gay orientation in order to be more attractive to gay audiences.
